2025 Topps Series 2 Baseball brings collectors Kings, World Champions, Rickwood Field, and much more. Keeping with tradition, Topps Series 2 delivers a comprehensive base set with exciting rookies, a rainbow of parallels, plenty of inserts, and plenty of tough pulls to satisfy collectors of all varieties. The 2025 Topps Series 2 Baseball base checklist includes 350 cards, which take up slots #s 351-700 on the overall 2025 Topps flagship checklist. Like Series 1, the second series is primarily a mixture of veterans and rookies. There are also two subsets: Future Stars and team cards. The parallel checklist runs deep, with every card getting dozens of colorful looks. Many parallels utilize special foils, and some exclusives dress up cards with summer themes. As was done in Series 1, a “First Card” notation will be stamped onto the first example of each Series 2 card that came off the production line. Every card in the Series 2 set also has a Golden Mirror variation. It’s the third year of these SSPs, but collectors should note the front design of the card does not look different – it is the golden back and alternative photo that make these special. It wouldn’t be a Topps flagship set without insert cards. New inserts include Summer Superstars, OPS Bests, Duos, and All Kings, which honors some of the top hitters from today and year’s past. Pitchers get their due with die-cut K-Zone cards. A short-printed variation displays a reverse K, which is baseball scoring shorthand for when a batter strikes out looking.
