2024 Panini Photogenic Football marks the photography-driven brand’s first go as a standalone set in the sport. Panini has used it in their multi-brand Chronicles before and Photogenic has had its own sets for basketball and wrestling but never a full pigskin offering. While the images are meant to be the star, those looking for traditional hits will still find them. Autographs are one per hobby box. Collectors can also expect to find an average of one insert per pack and four parallels in each box. Similar to Topps Stadium Club, design elements for the base set are minimal. This allows for the photographs to stand out with an edge-to-edge full-bleed layout. Intensity and emotion are common among the shots, capturing the game like few sets do. Veterans, legends and rookies make up the main set with first-year players falling approximately every other pack. Among the autographs are Instants, which draw inspiration from Polaroid photos. Others include Rookie Portraits Signatures (which also have standard inserts) and In the Action Autographs. Photogenic has several insert sets. These include A Different View, Draft Snapshots, For the Cure, Progressions, Rookie Introductions, Rookie Pix and Troops Tribute. Some short print chase sets are also on the checklist like Avatars and In-Motion.
