2024 Topps Chrome MLS soccer cards take a colorful look at the league. It’s generous with its Refractors, inserts and autographs. Not surprisingly, Lionel Messi plays a big role on the checklist as well. Hobby boxes have a pair of autographs. New Mania boxes have a single 12-card pack as well as four autographs that come already encased in holders. For those looking to build the main base set, there are 200 total cards. The usual suspects are there when it comes to rookies and vets. Subsets include Pitch Prodigies and MLS Flashbacks. Between hobby, value boxes and Mania boxes, there are more than 20 different parallels for all cards. Outside of standard Refractors and one-of-one Superfractors, the rest are exclusive to just a single configuration. Chrome Autographs have a deep checklist approaching 100 different signers. Refractors are available here, although it’s a more manageable six levels for those found in hobby packs. The next Mania boxes have Pink X-Fractors that are numbered to 99 as their main source of signatures. These also have far fewer signers with just 19. Pink is the running theme for the parallels here: Shimmer Pink Refractors (/40), Pink Pulsar Refractors (/25) and Pink Refractors (/10). These boxes are also the only place to find a special Lionel Messi Mania Autographs card. The base version is 1:63 boxes. However, with seven additional parallels, Messi signatures shouldn’t be super scarce in Mania boxes. Taking a page from baseball, MLS Debut Patch Autographs are one-of-ones that have a special patch that was included on players’ first MLS jerseys.
