2024 Upper Deck PWHL Hockey marks the first traditional set of trading cards for the Professional Women’s Hockey League. It’s straightforward, especially by today’s standards. There are chase elements, but not a lot of them. The base set consists of just 70 cards, 20 of which introduce Upper Deck’s iconic Young Guns subset to another side of hockey. Like the NHL’s Upper Deck Hockey, Young Guns are short prints but only modestly so. Landing 1:3.3 packs, there are three or four per hobby box. The design uses the same largely minimalist layout as 2024-25 Upper Deck Hockey. Parallels are similar as well with all cards getting Deluxe (/250), Exclusives (/100) and High Gloss (/10) versions. Young Guns also have Outburst (1:12 packs), Outburst Red (/25) and Outburst Gold (1/1). The 2024 Upper Deck PWHL checklist has just two insert sets, Dazzlers Blue (1:4.5 packs) and UD Portraits (1:5 packs). UD Portraits also have Gold (/299) and Red (/99) parallels. If you’re looking for autographs, you’re going to have to look elsewhere. 2024 Upper Deck PWHL does not have any.
