Parkhurst Champions is back, and it’s bringing a throwback vibe with it — but don’t let the retro look fool you. The 2024-25 release mixes old-school design with today’s hobby hits, from autographs to low-numbered parallels and lenticular case-chasers. It’s a product that looks like it could’ve come from a 1950s newsstand, but the content inside is built for modern collectors.
Each hobby box delivers a mix of base cards, short prints, inserts, and one major hit — either an autograph, a memorabilia card, or a lenticular rarity.
The Core Set
The base set comes in at 300 total cards, but it’s split into clear sections:- Cards 1 through 200 make up the main set
- The final 100 are short prints broken down into:
- 40 Stars (1 in 9 packs)
- 40 Rookies (1 in 9 packs)
- 20 Greats (1 in 17 packs)
Parallel Structure
Each hobby box includes six parallels, and there’s a nice blend of traditional and serial-numbered versions. The lineup includes:- Silver
- Rainbow Foilboard
- Shell Pink Border, numbered to 99
- Baby Blue Border, numbered to 25
- Black Border, numbered to 10
Hits: Autographs, Memorabilia, and Lenticular Surprises
Every hobby box includes one major hit. It could be:- An autograph card
- A memorabilia card (jersey or patch)
- A lenticular card
Lenticular cards show up in place of traditional hits in some boxes, and they’re extremely tough to find:
- In Full Color: 1 in 216 packs
- Retro-Active: 1 in 270 packs
Inserts to Watch
Parkhurst Champions doesn’t just fill space with inserts — it offers creative sets with varying print odds and fun themes:- Crease Lightning: 1 in 12 packs
- Saturday Night Standouts: 1 in 14
- Shake, Rattle and Roll: 1 in 17
- You Wouldn’t Believe: 1 in 23

- Class of 1953-54
- Stars of the ’50s

Every hobby box includes a separate bonus pack containing five retro-themed cards. These are based on the classic 1953-54 Parkhurst design and typically include:- Four base-style Retros

- Rainbow Foilboard versions numbered to 53
- Blank Back versions numbered to 15
- One-of-one Black Rainbow Foilboard parallels
