Is vintage the next sector of the hobby that will catch fire?

I’ve noticed that vintage is really starting to heat up especially the goats in high grade. The last memory lane auction was insane! And I noticed a lot of people lately trying to trade modern for vintage

I don’t think vintage ever really cooled off. “Vintage is King” was a saying long before any Covid spike or grading industry bottlenecks. I am a little anxious that the vintage non-sport market will take off. I am not aware of anyone else who collects vintage wolf cards. So supply and demand works in my favor. I have older and rarer cards than the Honus Wagner “grail” but until if/when the vintage non sport market takes off, I am enjoying having little competition for cards I want!
