Collectors have a new reason to rip open Topps packs—and this time, it's all about softball.

As the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) enters its second weekend, Topps has released its first AUSL trading card set: the Rookie Showcase. The debut collection features several of the league’s breakout stars, including Bri Ellis—already earning the nickname “the Barry Bonds of Softball” for her jaw-dropping power at the plate.

Ellis, who played college ball at Auburn and then Texas A&M, made a name for herself as one of the most dangerous hitters in NCAA softball. She led the SEC in home runs during her freshman season, crushed multiple grand slams throughout her college career, and became known for her ability to change the momentum of a game with a single swing. Now in the pros, she’s bringing that same presence to the AUSL.

Also featured in the set is Sierra Sacco, who etched her name in the league’s short history by hitting the AUSL’s first-ever home run, and Sam Landry, the top pick in the league’s inaugural college draft and a fireballing pitcher expected to become one of its foundational stars.

The Rookie Showcase set includes autograph inserts, limited parallel versions, and even a multi-player card featuring softball legends Jessica Mendoza, Jennie Finch, and Natasha Watley alongside league commissioner Kim Ng—marking a symbolic bridge between softball’s pioneers and the future of the sport.

Topps’ move into the AUSL reflects the league’s growing visibility and fan base. The league features four teams—Blaze, Bandits, Talons, and Volts—and a player-driven model that rotates rosters each week based on individual performance points.

Fans can catch Sam Landry and the Volts take on the Bandits tonight at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. For collectors, the Topps AUSL cards are already hitting secondary markets and becoming must-haves for anyone following the next generation of softball stars.
