Doesn’t it seem slightly risky to sign a USHL player that hasn’t actually been drafted yet? It’s understandable that such a promising player is attracting this much attention however anything can happen before he actually gets up to the NHL level. It can take a lot of time to get from a farm team to playing in the big leagues.
